ABC HIGH SCHOOL ORGANIZED A CAMPAIGN ON 'EDUCATE THE GIRL CHILD'


Jiaganj,Murshidabad, 15th August, 2022: Most of the parents in rural areas are not conscious/aware about the education of girls child. So to create awareness among the people about the importance of the education of a girl child, our ABC High School organized a campaign on ‘Educate The Girl Child’ on 14th August 2022 in the school auditorium hall. The hall was richly decorated with flowers, posters, banners, festoons etc. A famous social activist Murshida Khatun was the chief guest. Many parents and some local guests were present in this campaign. The students and teachers took out a rally with placards and went door to door to request the parents to send their daughters to school. After that a drama on ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ staged by the girls of class XI and XII. The chief guest gave a motivating speech about the importance of education for girl children. A short cultural programme was also organized by the girl students like songs, debate, quiz etc. Finally the programme successfully ended at 4:30 pm with the speech of the headmaster. The Campaign was a grand success as it helped to spread the message 'Educate a girl, Educate a family’.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION


Murshidabad, 25thAugust, 2022: Annual Sports Day was celebrated in a befitting manner in the premises of ABC High School on 24th August, 2022. The school was decorated with flowers, posters, banners and festoons etc. All the students and teachers gathered on the ground. Mr. Sisir Kumar a renowned footballer was the chief guest of this programme. Some local guest, guardians were also presented. Our headmaster welcomed the chief guest. The programme started at 11 am with the hoisting of the national flag by the chief guest. Many events were organized as 100m, 200m and 400m race, high jump, long jump, discus throw, musical chair etc. About 300 students participated in this programme. The main attraction was 'Go As You Like' . We all enjoyed very much. The chief guest gave a motivating speech about the importance of sports in education. After that, prizes were given away to the winners for the various events. Finally the programme ended at 5 pm with the speech of our headmaster. He thanked everyone for the successful programme.

Jiaganj, Murshidabad,15th August: 14th August is celebrated as Kanyashree Divas all over the state so our ABC High School organized Kanyashree Observation Day in a befitting manner in the premises on 14th August, 2022. The school premises were richly decorated with flowers, posters, banners and festoons. Mrs. Kabita chakma a famous social worker was the chief guest of the programme. The programme started at 12 PM with a Ravindra Sangeet sung by the senior girl Students. A large number of students, guardians, teachers and some local guest were also presented. The purpose of this programme was to prevent girls child marriage and reduce the drop out rate of girls. The chief guest gave a motivating speech about the importance of Kanyashree Divas and told that This scheme was introduced by the government of West Bengal for the development of women. A drama was performed by the girls on early child marriage. The programme was successful and everyone praised. It ended up at 4:30 pm with speech of the headmaster.
