Sir

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to venture my grave concern over the high price of essential commodities.

The price of the essential goods are increasing day by day by leaps and bounds. Rice is sold at Rs. 25/kg, flour Rs. 28/kg, dal at Rs. 120/kg, sugar at Rs. 42/kg, and mustard oil at Rs. 190/litre. The price of vegetables are also very high. Besides, the price of medicine, petroleum, gas etc. are also increasing. It has hit hard the low and middle class family. The poor are the worst sufferers. To earn their livelihood, they are getting involved into anti social activities. Thus the price hike is creating a dangerous impact on society. 

Therefore, I hope that you would kindly publish our deep and mentioned above in your esteemed English daily and draw the attention of the Government for taking effective steps.
